Kagami Glass Studio — Edo Kiriko Cut-Glass Workshop in Tokyo

Cut your own glass in a 90-minute hands-on class, guided by a craftsman with 30 years of experience. No Japanese needed.

What you'll do

Choose your glass (a tumbler or a sake cup) and a pattern from six traditional designs.
Learn to hold the glass against the spinning wheel and cut the lines yourself. Your instructor guides each cut.
Take your finished piece home the same day, wrapped for travel.

Duration: 90 minutes. Classes start at 10:30 and 14:00.
Price: ¥6,500 per person (tax included). Cash and credit cards accepted.
Ages 10 and up. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Instructions are given in English with a printed guide. Our staff speak basic English; for anything else, ask our chat assistant below.
Wear closed shoes and short sleeves. Aprons and safety glasses are provided.
Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before your class.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00. Closed Mondays.
